In the condition that student achievement results are relatively low, solutions must be found to improve listening skills. One of the efforts that can be done is to apply audio-visual learning media in listening classes. By using the media, some students who have difficulty in understanding some words will have more opportunities for practice. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with experimental research to determine the relationship between variables, which is measured using a research instrument. In this study, the research process was carried out in three stages, namely pre-test, treatment implementation, and post-test. Data analysis is quantitative/statistical with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses. The results of the research obtained after the study were an increase in the value of the sample. This means that the application of audio-visual learning media can help improve the listening skills of grade X students of MAN Insan Cendekia OKI. It is hoped that this research can provide solutions in dealing with student listening problems. In addition, researchers should then be able to develop a linkup space in this study, so that audio-visual learning media can be useful for many people.
